From April 2023 we will be introducing a new online system called PATCHS.
PATCHS is very user friendly and we think that Patients and their carers will see it as a welcomed change.
However, unlike eConsult you need to register with the system before you can use.
We are asking all our Patients to set up their accounts now so that they are ready for the changes over the coming months.
We are sorry for this change but we will try to make it as easy as possible for you and the people you care for.
Please also be patient with us as we are having to learn this new system too!
What do I need to do first?
To ensure you are ready for when we GO LIVE you need to register for an account. We recognise that this might feel uncomfortable to many but all of your data is safe and secure and by registering for an account now this will mean you are ready for when we GO LIVE and you will not have to do it ever again.

Following guidance from NHS England in 2018, all our appointments are initially dealt with remotely and Warrington introduced eConsult.
At Latchford Medical Centre we have been using eConsult since December 2019.
This was a huge change for everyone; staff at Medical Centre, our Patients and their Carers but we have all worked hard to help make this work.
Now NHS England, Cheshire and Merseyside have bought a new system called PATCHS (What is PATCHS? – PATCHS Support)
PATCHS is very user friendly and we think that Patients and their carers will see it as a welcomed change.
However, unlike eConsult you need to register with the system before you can use it by registering here - PATCHS

PATCHS is the new easy way for you to contact your GP practice online.
PATCHS has been designed by GPs to make it easier to contact your practice and save you time.
We are introducing PATCHS and phasing eConsult out slowly!
From April 2023 we will introduce PATCHS for our non-clinical requests - we will continue to use eConsult for clinical requests.
Prescriptions can be requested through your NHS App or by dropping them off at the Medical Centre.
Once fully implemented PATCHS works by answering a few simple questions
You can use PATCHS to contact your GP practice for health advice, condition monitoring, repeat prescriptions, fit notes, appointment bookings, and more.
PATCHS provides lots of benefits including being able to make requests in your own time, avoid telephone queues and waiting rooms, and getting quick responses. PATCHS also helps patients who struggle to contact their GP practice using the telephone or in-person. This includes patients who have hearing or speaking impairments, anxiety, and who speak English as a second language.
